We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly kitchen team in a busy secondary school. This is a part‑time position, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in providing excellent food service to students and staff. Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and drinks
- Setting up and clearing dining areas
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Washing utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment
- Supporting the catering team during busy lunch periods
- Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times
