Totter + Tumble is a rapidly growing & inclusive company with delightfully big ambitions and the best cheerleaders – our customers. Our founder Susie had the idea for our much-loved playmats whilst looking for a playmat that did not compromise on her home style, on her children’s safety, or on her time. No one needs to look after a playmat at the end of the day.
Totter + Tumble is now operating in the UK, United States, Europe, as well as in the UAE. Our small, parent-run team of 11 has achieved so much—and now we are looking to what comes next and who wants to join us.
As a D2C brand operating online, our website is key to our customer journey, and ultimately our success. This role offers an exciting opportunity to someone who relishes anything to do with ecommerce and websites, who enjoys the fast pace of an ever-changing retail landscape, and likes to take ownership over their job responsibilities. They will be naturally curious, seeking out ways to better, improve and move with Shopify developments. Being able to switch between methodical and organised administration to contributing seeking opportunities for growth. Shopify, SEO, CRO and customer journeys will be their daily joy.
Role Responsibilities:
As an Ecommerce Executive, you will join a team where your role is vital to the
success of the global ecommerce channels. You will be responsible for the creation, publishing, merchandising and optimisation of all digital content across our
ecommerce channels. You will work closely with all departments including marketing, merchandising, operations, and customer service to prioritise web development projects
This an exciting opportunity to further enhance your existing experience in a successful brand. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong knowledge of web and retail is keen to learn and progress within e-commerce.
Website Management
- Day to day management of the websites using Shopify, including the set up and management of all products across international markets, ensuring all sites are kept up to date with correct copy, translations, images, pricing, metafields etc
- Determine, plan and manage visual merchandising, copy, product collections and setting appropriate stock for new product launches.
- Planning and executing on site promotions, managing the discounting and pricing strategy.
- Planning and delivering on all things digital for new product launches and campaigns, including optimised asset creation and compelling + optimised landing pages.
- Proactively making trading actions to support performance trends and pockets of stock
- Responsible for third party merchandising, including product set up, creation and delivery of assets.
- Responsible for managing Shopify apps, add ons and other sales channels such as Shop app.
- Scope necessary development work and manage web development agency on workflow, prioritise bug fixes, site optimisation and new web features and liaise with the team on website needs.
- Work with the wider team on projects that require website integrations such as CRM (Klaviyo), affiliate programmes and refer-a-friend platforms.
E-commerce Development
- Monitor website performance and optimise for functionality and user experience
- Improve customer end to end journey from discover, purchase, close and repeat custom to optimise conversion and traffic
- Copy and content creation, including maximising SEO and key word potential and following SEO best practices.
- Working closely with the team to identify growth opportunities to drive new customer acquisition
- Design and test landing pages for product launches, marketing channels, pricing tests and customer cohorts to increase conversion rates
- Monitor e-commerce trends in the UK, EU and US and customising the website per territory
- Reporting on performance, opportunities and comparable market
About You:
- 2-3 years Shopify experience working as an e-commerce executive at a D2C brand
- Data is your friend – you find it easy to use insights to back-up your instincts and are proficient in e-commerce tools such as Shopify, Google Analytics, heat mapping etc
- You’ll be comfortable working as a one-man-band or playing your part in a team.
- Getting stuck into platforms and processes with a focus on automation and optimisation is important to you.
- You’re a professional plate juggler (though perhaps not literally!) – having multiple projects on-the-go is the kind of thing that gets you out of bed in the morning.
- This role sits across both the Marketing and Operations team, so is a pivotal role that gets exposure to lots of projects.
- Generally be part of our team! We are a small business and work together to be the best we can be. This could mean anything from assisting on photoshoots, getting stuck into creating graphics, assisting at events or just generally lending a hand.

Terms + Conditions:
- Salary: to be discussed depending on experience, within the range £28-33K FTE.
- Contract: Permanent position
- Attendance: Your work will be mainly remote with regular in person meetings based in London. This is currently up to 6 times a year but could be subject to change.
- Flexible working practices: part time 30 hours per week Monday-Friday between 8-6pm
- We would require some flexibility in return to ensure coverage for launches and any seasonal/campaign activities
- Hours could increase as role develops.
- Holiday entitlement: 25 working days and bank holidays, pro rata.
- Additional Pension contributions above statutory regulations.
