  • Support the process of compiling comprehensive player profiles & contribute meaningfully throughout the scouting process (identification, assessment & recommendation), completing any ad-hoc tasks that are required (such as compiling presentations or conducting research projects on players under consideration).
  • Be willing to work unsociable hours to ensure that the highest quality of work is maintained during critical times of the season (i.e. during & in the build-up to a transfer window).

  • Previous experience of working in a technical scout role (or equivalent) at a professional football club (2 years or more).

  • Strong work ethic and proactive in prioritising the most necessary tasks in relation to the specific scouting/recruitment demands at that time.
  • Enthusiasm to learn new skills while on the job to not only assist in improving the process of presenting a player to the club’s key stakeholders but to also develop themselves as a practitioner.
  • Team player, collaborative & open-minded to adopting a holistic approach to scouting & player assessment.
