The Role
We’re currently recruiting a mid-level Video Editor to be part of our busy post-production team delivering world-class content for Spurs\’ social platforms and commercial partners. We’re looking for a talented, creative editor with a can-do attitude, who\’s excited to contribute to some of the world\’s most viewed football content.
Reporting to the Senior Editor & Post Production Manager, the successful candidate will be involved in cutting a variety of short and mid form content including behind-the-scenes features, podcasts, match highlights, PR events, commercial projects and much more. They will also play an important role in maintaining the organisation of our media library and the sharing of video assets with key stakeholders.
IMPORTANT: To be considered for this role, applicants must provide a portfolio of video editing work. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
Due to the nature of football, the role will occasionally require out of hours working commitments to support specific events.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit a variety of short and mid form content, applying advanced skills for storytelling, colour grading and sound design.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Editor & Post Production Manager, Producers and Content Leads to ensure brand consistency and content quality across platforms.
- Work effectively within our busy post-production team by maintaining our extensive media library (ingesting rushes, logging footage, managing project files and archiving our finished content).
- Deliver final assets optimised for multiple platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and SPURSPLAY, adapting aspect ratios and formats as needed.
- Ensure all edits align with the Club’s tone, brand guidelines, and messaging, maintaining a high standard of visual and editorial consistency.
- Edit highlights of our Academy team matches (evening/weekend remote work required).
About You
- Organised, reactive and reliable under deadlines.

- Strong storytelling instincts with awareness of how editing choices impact viewer engagement and emotion.
- Understand the nuances of tone and pacing in different video genres (promo, commercial, documentary, hype reels, behind-the-scenes, etc.).
- Good ability to multitask projects in the post-production pipeline.
- Able to work autonomously within a supportive team.
- A keen eye for detail, specifically around the accuracy of information and file names.
- Professional and discreet with confidential football business.
- An interest and passion for football desirable but not essential.
Key Requirements
- Experienced editing video in a creative environment, preferably for a football club, sport institution or sports media agency.
- Strong portfolio/reel showcasing a range of video editing styles and storytelling techniques.
- Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, with advanced grading and sound mixing skills.
- Proficient in Adobe After Effects.
- Advanced understanding of video aspect ratios and codecs.
- Good understanding of media management tools and a willingness to learn more.
- Experience working with studio multicam footage and syncing audio.
- Comfortable editing under time pressure and with quick turnarounds.
- NOTE: An encyclopaedic knowledge of football is not essential, however, the ability to accurately research details about the Club, our players and staff, and our football activity is crucial.
