Role Purpose
We are seeking a Strategic Partnership Manager to support the Head of IA&SP in the planning, development, and delivery of partnerships with the Club’s strategic partners (NFL, F1, Premier League and more). This role sits within the commercial team.
This individual will play a critical role in shaping and delivering best-in-class activations, acting as a key driver of innovation, creative thinking, and future growth. This role is centred around delivering incremental revenue, expanding the Club and Stadium's reach and engagement and activating key strategic partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing relationships with key strategic partners, maximising activation opportunities, rights utilisation, and long-term value.
- Foster year-round collaboration with partners, centred around creative and growth.
- Create, manage, and evolve an “always-on” activation plan to strengthen the Club’s presence, relevance, and influence across the US.
- Own and manage the Club’s relationships with key partnership stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader Club objectives.
- Manage the delivery of partnership rights throughout the season, ensuring rights are optimised, strategically activated, and delivered to a high standard.
- Lead the creative approach to partnership activations, bringing fresh thinking, new formats, and innovative ideas that resonate with global audiences.
- Work collaboratively across departments.
- Contribute towards influencer and talent-led activations, from concept development through to on-the-ground execution.
- Continuously challenge existing approaches by examining industry best practice, emerging trends, and how leading leagues, clubs, and rights holders activate in international markets.
- Work closely with the Club’s content and communications teams to amplify partnership activity, events, and activations across owned and partner channels.
- Ensure storytelling and messaging is consistent, impactful, and aligned with both partner objectives and Club brand values.
- Manage activation budgets effectively, ensuring strong commercial discipline and return on investment.
- Lead and coordinate external agencies, including creative, event, influencer, and talent agencies, ensuring high-quality delivery and clear accountability.
- Oversee project timelines, scope, and delivery, ensuring activations are executed on time and within budget.
Person Specification
- Experience in sports, fashion, lifestyle, or entertainment preferred.
- Proven experience delivering live events and experiential activations, ideally from an agency environment.
- Strong experience working with talent, influencers, and event agencies, including briefing, contracting, and on-site delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically, translating partnership rights into compelling, audience-first activations.
- Solid understanding of the global sports landscape, including how leagues and rights holders activate across international markets.
- Experience managing budgets and agencies, with strong organisational and project management skills.
- Confident stakeholder manager, able to collaborate cross-functionally and influence internally and externally.
