Senior Women Physiotherapist – Mat Cover

We are seeking a Senior Women’s Physiotherapist to support the medical team in providing high-quality assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to players, helping them perform at their best. This is a mat cover role with responsibility for day-to-day medical care and in preparing players for training and matches.

What you will do

• Provide daily medical diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation
• Support the Medical Team with day-to-day responsibilities
• Maximise player availability for the Head Coach in preparing players daily for training
• Deliver recovery sessions following games as part of the medical programme
• Maintain accurate medical records using a computerised notes system
• Attend daily medical meetings and contribute effectively with the wider team
• Promote anti-doping policies in line with WADA

What you will bring

Specific Experience:

• A BSc in Sports Therapy or Sport Rehabilitation
• Or a BSc or MSc degree level qualification in Physiotherapy
• BASRaT or MSST affiliation/member
• Or CSP and HCPC Registered
• An extensive and up to date CPD portfolio

• Experience of providing elite therapy services based on principles of human performance and clinical sports medicine

• Strong rehabilitation skills to take athletes from the plinth to the pitch
• Positive, reliable and honest; respectful of others and collaborative
• Good organisation skills and confidentiality
• Committed, reliable, punctual and passionate about developing elite players
• Demonstrable interest in the physical development of elite academy footballers
