The Role
We are looking for a Retail Merchandise Graphic Designer on a freelance basis focusing on developing graphics, all over prints and product design, from artwork to execution under the Spurs brand across multiple product categories. Youâll bring vision, craft, and leadership to a worldâclass creative team, helping to make Tottenham Hotspur the most exciting team on the planet by working closely with our buying department to translate artistic and cultural storytelling into wearable graphic concepts that align with our brand vision.
About You
- Research current and future trends for print and graphics to continue innovation and drive newness by creating mood boards and sharing ideas with the rest of the team.
- Draw influences from a wide range of sources - from Instagram micro trends through to seasonal global trends and catwalks.
- Collaborate with the Buying Team to interpret brand direction, artwork, and storytelling into cohesive design outcomes for each range.
- Work within brand guidelines while bringing a fresh, creative perspective to visual identity in apparel and packaging design.
- Present creative concepts with clarity and conviction to key stakeholders across the business.
- Prepare print files for production, ensuring accuracy in scale, colour, and repeat.
- Maintain an organised digital library of artworks, colour palettes, and print references.
- Liaise with suppliers and production partners as needed to ensure design accuracy and quality.
- Any other tasks that may arise in line with business needs.
Due to the nature of the industry and the role, some outâofâoffice hours work would be required from time to time including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
What you will bring
- Preferable qualification in Graphic/Print Design or a related creative field.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
