We’re currently recruiting a Marketing Communications Executive – Fan Growth within our Marketing Communications team to help elevate our Fan Growth initiatives. This will be a hands-on role involving campaign building and planning in conjunction with the Digital and Growth team and commercial stakeholders. It will play a crucial role in the development of our digital fan engagement strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with Digital Platforms & Performance Marketing teams to build fan growth campaigns across our digital products to grow our database of supporters.
  • Activating lifecycle campaigns across our digital ecosystem, utilising email, in-app, push, SMS & WhatsApp channels to deliver relevant and personalised fan experiences.
  • Ownership of the Club’s free digital membership proposition Spurs ID, driving Spurs ID registrations and creating targeted strategies to engage with this cohort.
  • Preparing, analysing, and presenting regular updates & performance reports, tracking activity against KPIs and offering suggestions for campaign improvements, opportunities, and optimisations.

About You:

You will live and breathe fan growth & engagement, marketing technology and understand the importance and value of the fan data within the Club. You’re an expert when it comes to understanding the potential of marketing tools to deliver exceptional fan experiences. You have a strong analytical mind and make good use of the abundance of data that exists in this space to drive your decisions, but you also are able to step out of the data to look at experiences from the eye of the receiver, to ensure the obvious is not lost. The opportunity to own and build a relationship using best in class marketing technology with specific key audiences excites you. You are well-organised, logical and efficient with good time management skills and are able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, without sacrificing attention to detail.

What you will bring:

  • Previous experience in Marketing Communications and/or CRM, specifically with email and mobile app marketing.
  • An understanding of how to use marketing automation, segmentation and lifecycle marketing to create experiences that drive customer engagement.
  • Experience in a D2C start-up or scale-up e-commerce, subscription, or hyper growth business.
  • Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, or similar MAP/ESP/CRM.
  • Comfortable working in reporting tools and creating campaign reports with the ability to measure against set objectives and KPIs and produce reports based on findings.
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to balance rigorous attention to detail with swift execution.
