Role Purpose
Working to identify and highlight the most talented grassroots players to Tottenham Hotspur FC across a variety of age groups in Buckinghamshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend regionalised grassroots clubs, leagues, tournaments under the direction of the Local Recruitment team
- Identify and recommend players with the potential to join Tottenham Hotspur Academy
- Record and provide key details via scout reports for players of interest
- Attend regular meetings at the Academy and/or online to discuss regional players of interest, support trial process and develop understanding of players already in the Academy programmes
- Attend CPD to develop relevant knowledge
- Adhere to the Academy Recruitment strategy and processes
- Adhere to the Tottenham Hotspur Academy scouts code of conduct
- Abide by the FA and club safeguarding rules and regulations working with young children
Safeguarding Responsibilities
- Have a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
- Act in accordance with the organisation’s safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
- Be alert to signs of abuse, neglect, or safeguarding concerns and report these appropriately
- Maintain professional boundaries and act as a positive role model when working with or around children
- Attend safeguarding training as required and keep knowledge up to date
