*About the Role:*
Toto are looking for a Registered Manager to lead our new 4 bed home in Elswick, caring for children with learning and physical disability.
Are you currently an experienced Registered Manager with aspirations of making a big impact within a small organisation? Would you relish the opportunity to create a home from scratch; leading on culture, recruitment, homes design and ethos.
Working closely with your Deputy Manager, you will ensure that we provide exceptional experiences and outcomes for our children, making wonderful memories along the way.
You will lead by example, promoting the vision, mission, and values of Toto in all aspects of work.
*Responsibilities:*
* You will ensure that your home has a strong safeguarding culture, ethos and that it is both a safe place to live and work.
* You will ensure that your home operates in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
* To ensure the home meets and exceeds the standards and expectations contained in its Statement of Purpose as well as fully complying with legislative frameworks and the SCCIF.
* Promote a trauma-informed, therapeutic care approach underpinned by PACE principles.
* To promote the importance of stakeholder feedback and how this underpins our approaches to quality assurance, most importantly focusing at all times on the voice of the child.
* Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability while maintaining high standards of care.
*You must have *
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or the willingness to work towards.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management or deputy manager role within a children’s residential home.
* Experience of caring for children with Autism, Learning Disability and or Physical Disability.
* Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability.
* Good quality writing and IT skills.
* Professional manner and effective communicator.
