What You’ll Do

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and industry shifts to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Own the development of accurate market forecasts and influence business planning, target‑setting, and strategic prioritisation.
  • Prepare briefing materials, insightful presentations, and board‑level reports.
  • Provide strategic leverage to the CEO by leading confidential and business‑critical initiatives.
  • Translate research into actionable insight.
  • Partner with the PayPlan Design Authority.
  • Shape policy opinions and draft documentation to influence external stakeholders.
  • Lead and execute thematic change strategies.
  • Provide oversight and guidance for complex problem‑solving.
  • Act as a senior point of reference for performance queries.
  • Build strong relationships across the ExCo and wider organisation.
  • Establish high standards of performance.
  • Mentor and develop colleagues.
  • Apply robust critical thinking to challenge ideas.
  • Stay informed on regulatory and financial developments.
