Junior CAD Technician Salary: £28 – £34k, depending on experience Location: Swansea Duration: Permanent Position A reputable, Swansea based Engineering Design Consultancy are looking to recruit a Junior CAD Technician, for their growing design office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated CAD Technician to join an experienced engineering team. The ideal candidate will have some Mechanical, Piping and/or Steelwork 3D CAD Modelling experience. The Role You will form part of a close-knit team providing CAD support to senior designers, creating 3D Models & 2D detailed drawings for a variety of industries including Oil & Gas, Water & Sewage, Heavy Engineering and Process Plant. Most projects generally include a combination of bespoke process piping and associated structural steel including piping supports and access platforming etc. You will assist with visits, surveys and 3D Scanning on numerous industrial sites. Requirements * ONC/HNC level of education as a minimum. * 2+ years’ min. experience working with 3D AutoCAD/Plant Design Software. * Some experience of Intergraph Cadworx Plant 3D, Autocad Advanced Steel and Revit would be a distinct advantage. * Some basic knowledge of Pipework and/or Structural Steel design and construction drawings. * Knowledge and awareness of British, EN & ANSI standards (Piping & Steelwork) * Good communication, numeracy and IT skills To Apply: If you would like more information on this fantastic opportunity then please call and speak to a member of our team at Totec Recruitment or send your CV to Totec Recruitment today.
