We are looking for Support Workers to join a new service in full-time, part-time and bank positions . - You will assist the Management Team with the oversight of homes, leading on support and safety .
- You will be a role model to the young people, continually pushing for the highest standards.
- Your support will be trauma-informed . You will understand people’s backgrounds and champion diversity and inclusion .
- There is so much variety . You could be helping someone move and settle into their new home, safety planning to reduce harm, helping someone secure their desired job or secure the place on the training course they have aspired to, support with independent living skills, and obtain refugee status.

Position: Support Worker (Job ID 1027)
Hours: Full-time is 39.375 hours per week, part time is anything from 11.25-33.75 hours per week. Working 8am-8:15pm – 3 days on 4 off then 4 days on 3 off alternating.
Contract: Permanent
Location: Trowbridge, with some homes in Chippenham and Salisbury.
Pay: £25,798.50 FTE; part time will be pro rata. Bank rate is £12.60 per hour. Opportunity to earn more with sleep shifts, at over £100 per shift.

Annual Leave entitlement will be pro-rata for Part-time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be compensated with time off in lieu. An extra day of leave accrues for each completed financial year (capped at 5). Purchasing additional holidays is capped at 5 per year.
Contracted staff only. Business mileage (45p a mile) is paid for any daily miles over and above the distance from your home to the allocated workplace location and back. You\’ll need a well-maintained vehicle with valid tax, MOT and Insurance covering business use.
