Salary: Teachers PayScale (depending on experience) + SEN Allowance (2 days)

Hours: Part-time 2 days SENCO (with option of further 3 days teaching by negotiation)

The School: St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is a successful one form entry Catholic Primary School and Nursery with a strong and supportive staff team. We are situated in Kilburn. We are part of the All Saints’ Trust comprised of five primary schools and one secondary school. Our vision is to provide education to enable all children to pursue excellence for the common good as world citizens and future leaders of the 21st Century.

The Post: A qualified SENCO with SENCO qualification (or commitment to achieving this award). An enthusiastic, highly motivated and caring professional with a proven track record of excellence in teaching and learning. Knowledge and experience of EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Highly knowledgeable in the areas of SEN and inclusion. Supportive of the Catholic ethos and committed to our school values and mission. Part-time post with the option of extending the role with further days (class based).

The Person: A qualified teacher with strong knowledge of SEND and a commitment to inclusive education. Experienced in supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs within a primary school setting. Committed to ensuring compliance with statutory SEND requirements, including the SEND Code of Practice 2015 and relevant legislation. An excellent communicator who can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff and external professionals. Able to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team, contributing positively to the wider school community. Well organised and proactive, with the ability to manage SEND documentation, provision and reviews effectively. Passionate about improving outcomes for children with additional needs and promoting inclusive practice across the school. Able to contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of the school.
