Do you have substantial hands-on experience building, extending, and supporting Dynamics 365 Field Service solutions in a production environment, including Field Service Mobile and Resource Scheduling Optimisation? If you have a strong working knowledge of the wider Power Platform and Dataverse, sufficient to make sound design and build choices in a Field Service context, then this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for!
As our senior hands-on technical specialist for Clarion's Dynamics 365 Field Service platform, you'll lead on complex builds, support the resolution of difficult production issues, and set the bar for how technical work is done in the team. With strong development skills across the relevant stack, including C#, JavaScript or TypeScript, plugins, Logic Apps, Power Automate, and integration with RESTful Web APIs, you'll work closely with the Dynamics Field Service Architect, turning designs into resilient, well-engineered solutions, lifting the technical practice of the Technical Consultants around you.
The emphasis of this role is on hands-on delivery. You'll be expected to be a strong practitioner who builds well and to a high standard. With a track record of being a senior technical contributor others rely on, with the judgement to know when to step in and when to coach someone else through the work, you'll manage two Technical Consultants, helping them grow as engineers and making sure their work meets the standard the platform needs.
Practical experience with Dynamics ALM, environment strategy, source control, and release pipelines, and a working understanding of what good engineering practice looks like on this platform, is vital. If you have experience leading or mentoring more junior technical staff, with the instinct to develop people as well as deliver work with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, then we want to hear from you now.
With hybrid working, base locations across England and flexible working arrangements this could be the opportunity you've been looking for!
