Overtime and emergency call-outs are flexible depending on weather and market needs and are linked to the agreed salary package. Further details will be discussed at interview.
The Role
Your work will include:
- Servicing, repairing and replacing commercial and domestic boilers
- Carrying out gas safety inspections and testing in line with current regulations
- Maintaining commercial plant rooms
- Diagnosing faults and identifying the most appropriate solutionCarrying out gas works following inspections and testing
- Repairing leaks and replacing boiler and heating components
- Boiler fitting and carcass replacement or updating
- Completing repairs to a high standard with a right-first-time approach
- Completing detailed daily job reports using Protean
- Working safely and in full compliance with health and safety regulations
What We’re Looking For
You will need:
- A recognised gas trade qualification
- Gas Safe commercial and domestic qualifications and suitable experience
- Domestic ACS Gas Safe certification, including CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT, CEN1 and CPA1
- At least five years’ plumbing experience
- Experience in commercial plant room maintenance
- The ability to diagnose faults and complete high-quality repairs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good punctuality and the ability to work within target response times
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Your own tools and drills
- An unvented hot water qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. CSCS is preferred.
