The Role
The Centre for Resilient Business and Society (CRBS) undertakes innovative, world‑class research dedicated to advancing knowledge and innovation at the intersection of business resilience and societal well‑being. We aim to maximise long‑term economic and social value through interdisciplinary, data‑driven research in partnership with industry, government, and societal stakeholders, including charities and NGOs. Our team of leading academics have developed a significant portfolio of excellent and impactful research that delivers world‑class results. As part of the development of the law and economic crime research at Coventry University, we are seeking to recruit a senior researcher that focuses on understanding, countering and mitigating such threats, with particular emphasis on national policy and/or practice. This new post will help develop and deliver significant and impactful research from both an interdisciplinary and socio‑technical perspective.
Our Successful Candidate
We are seeking a research leader with a PhD, demonstrable experience in fraud and financial/economic crime research and/or policy and/or practice, as well as significant experience leading such research field at the national and international levels. You will also have publications in international highly reputable peer‑reviewed journals and experience leading and working on funded research project(s) that have demonstrable impact or significant potential for impact. This role provides a unique opportunity to join one of the UK’s most forward‑thinking and successful modern universities at a time of rapid expansion in our research capacity.
