About the role: We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative Business Enabler to join our Corporate Services team. This newly created role is central to our ambition to provide strategic, responsive and high-quality business support to the arts sector in Wales. You’ll work closely with our funded organisations, acting as a business partner to help strengthen their resilience, sustainability and impact. You’ll be expected to work independently but also to collaborate with colleagues across the Arts Council, particularly in the Arts and Research teams, to identify needs and deliver tailored support. This could range from designing training through to facilitating and delivering workshops, as well as assessing and monitoring grant applications for support. You’ll also contribute to sector-wide initiatives, training programmes and the development of new approaches to business and operational development. This is a dynamic role that will see you using your skills across a broad spectrum of business disciplines, including finance, governance, HR, income generation, climate justice and fundraising.

About you: You’ll be an excellent communicator with experience in business partnering or providing independent operational support to organisations. You’ll be confident navigating complex challenges and building trusted relationships with stakeholders. You may bring expertise in a specific area, but you’ll also be comfortable working across disciplines and adapting to emerging needs. You’ll be analytical, organised, outcome-focused, and a problem solver, with a commitment to inclusive and ethical practice.

Welsh language: We work in both English and Welsh. Welsh language skills are essential for this role. You will need to be able to communicate in both English and Welsh in meetings, individually and in public.
