Total Security is a multi award-winning Antivirus and Security company, based in Fareham, Hampshire. The Chromium Browser Developer will be an integral part of the ongoing development of Total Security's privacy-focused browser. This role requires a deep understanding of the Chromium codebase and a passion for building innovative browser features that enhance user security and privacy. The Chromium Browser Developer will collaborate closely with the browser extensions team to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Browser Development:
- Develop and maintain features for the Chromium-based browser.
- Implement security and privacy enhancements within the browser.
- Optimize browser performance and resource usage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve browser-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with Chromium development and security patches.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Collaboration and Integration:
- Work closely with the browser extensions team to design and implement features that leverage browser capabilities.
- Ensure compatibility and seamless integration between the browser and extensions.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to address cross-browser dependencies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
