Total Politics Group is looking for a Campaign Manager to help our clients deliver their messages through our market-leading collection of media brands: PoliticsHome, The House, Civil Service World, and Public Technology. Working across a portfolio of clients, ranging from major brands and industry associations to public affairs agencies and charities, the Campaign Manager will manage and deliver integrated campaigns that connect clients with influential political and public sector audiences. The role sits within a small, award-winning team and reports to the Political Campaigns Lead.
It offers significant breadth: across brands, policy areas, and campaign formats, with real opportunity to contribute to how we develop and evolve our commercial products. Ensuring our clients’ messages cut through in the noisy world of politics is crucial, so the ability to come up with new and inventive content ideas, informed by good judgement and excellent client communication, is a key skill. It is essential to stay on top of the political and legislative agenda, identifying opportunities for clients to react to fast-moving policy and political developments.
The successful candidate will have strong project management expertise to meet multiple deadlines at the same time and will work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver the most impactful campaigns. Examples of our work include: PoliticsHome members, Civil Service World members, The Path to Net Zero, and the Legislative Lookahead supplements.
Key Responsibilities- End-to-end campaign delivery across multiple Total Politics Group brands (PoliticsHome, The House, Civil Service World, Public Technology)
- Managing concurrent client campaigns with varying timelines and complexity
- Translating political and policy developments into reactive and proactive campaign opportunities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients across a range of sectors and policy areas
- Working closely with editorial, sales, and events teams to deliver integrated client solutions
- Supporting senior team members with pitching and campaign development
- Ensuring consistent delivery quality during peak campaign periods
- Contribute to in-house content production where required
- Acting as a central coordination point across multi-brand delivery requests
- Relevant professional experience in Public Affairs, Communications, Politics, Campaigns or Public Policy
- An excellent understanding of UK politics and the policy environment
- Great communication, presentation and client management skills
- An understanding of social media and digital marketing
- Excellent project management skills, and the ability to competently manage the production of a media plan within budget
- Experience working with online content management systems (desirable)
- Demonstrable record as a good team player
- Good attention to detail
- Strong research skills
- An ability to think creatively and a willingness to brainstorm ideas across teams
- Excellent written and spoken English
