Are you ready to revolutionise field service operations? At Totalmobile, we’re on a mission to improve the work and lives of mobile workers. We’re looking for a confident mid-level Project Manager to play a key role in delivering impactful solutions as part of our professional services team. Totalmobile is a market-leading software provider dedicated to transforming how field services operate. With a strong presence across the UK and Ireland, our 390-strong team supports over 1,000 organisations and 500,000 workers, helping them deliver smarter, more efficient services and unlock measurable return on investment through innovative Field Service Management technology.
Our success comes from a unique, fully integrated platform called Field First. This was built through continuous innovation and eight strategic acquisitions. From mobile workforce management to operational intelligence, from lone worker protection to field engineer tracking – we deliver an end-to-end ecosystem.
The Role
As a Project Manager at Totalmobile, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of innovative software solutions for our customers. This is more than project delivery — it’s an opportunity to influence how organisations transform their field operations directly. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while creating exceptional customer experiences along the way. This role will sit within our Public Sector vertical, where Totalmobile partners with local and central government, healthcare, and blue light organisations across the UK. You’ll join a specialist team dedicated to helping these organisations modernise services, improve tenant outcomes, and drive operational efficiency through technology.
What you will be doing
You will play a central role in managing customer projects collaboratively, working closely with internal teams, customers, and partners to ensure successful delivery. You’ll provide clear and consistent updates on project progress, ensuring strong communication and alignment across stakeholders. A deep understanding of contracts, milestones, and deliverables will be key to driving successful outcomes. You will facilitate smooth transitions from sales into delivery, ensuring projects are set up for success from day one. Operating within multi-disciplinary, matrix-style teams, you will lead, motivate, and coordinate colleagues, partners, and third-party suppliers throughout the full project lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining robust project governance, including detailed plans, Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), and RAID logs. As projects progress, you’ll ensure a seamless handover into customer success, maintaining continuity and reinforcing long-term customer satisfaction.
Essential Skills and Experience
You will bring an advanced ICT qualification and at least two years’ experience delivering software implementation projects within a software vendor environment. Holding a recognised project management certification such as PRINCE2, CAPM, or PMP, you’ll have a proven track record of delivering customer-facing projects from initiation through to completion. You’ll combine strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to understand new technologies quickly. Highly motivated and results-driven, you’re equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team. With strong analytical thinking and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, you’re confident managing complexity while maintaining a focus on delivery excellence.
At Totalmobile, we want our employees to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who they are at work. We are committed to an inclusive workforce that fully represents many different cultures, backgrounds and viewpoints. We are dedicated to supporting inclusion and diversity at Totalmobile. We actively celebrate colleagues’ different abilities, sexual orientation, ethnicity, faith, and gender. Everyone is welcome and supported in their development at all stages in their journey with us.
