The Role
As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and MIG welding heavy-duty equipment to a consistently high standard.
Your duties will include:
- MIG welding heavy steel up to 20mm gauge
- Working with 1.2mm welding wire on large and heavy equipment
- Fabricating components and assemblies to specification
- Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
- Working accurately to set specifications and quality standards
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Working as part of a skilled production team
Experience with the following would also be advantageous:
- Plasma cutting
- Oxy-acetylene cutting
- Manual press brake operations
- Heavy commercial vehicle fabrication
Experience Required
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a Fabricator Welder
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with commercial vehicles
- Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience working with heavy steel fabrication

What We Offer
- £14.00 - £16.00 per hour, depending on experience and trade test
- Overtime available at an enhanced rate
