An exciting development opportunity has arisen to join the Environmental Services Supervisor Team who are responsible for undertaking domestic and commercial waste collection services across the borough.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the waste collections services, planning physical and vehicle resources needed to deliver the collection schedules ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved. As well as ensuring quality services are delivered and high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved, you will ensure that the services are delivered in line with the company Safety First Culture. You will work with the other supervisors in the team to ensure that the services are undertaken safely by carrying out regular crew checks and monitoring visits.
You will be expected to work flexibly in the interest of the service. You'll be responsible as part of the team for the day-to-day running of the waste services, planning and managing the physical and vehicle resources needed to deliver the collection schedules as well as the day-to-day management of the crews ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved.
Due to the nature of the services, there will be regular contact with members of the public in relation to service enquiries and you will ensure that any issues are resolved quickly and in line with any service level agreements, contracts and Company ISO standards. You'll ensure quality services are delivered and high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved. You'll ensure that the services are delivered in line with the Company Safety First Culture at all times. You'll work with the other supervisors in the team to ensure that the services are undertaken safely by regular crew and vehicle checks and monitoring and ensuring all necessary training is carried out. You'll also assist with any service developments or change.
You'll direct and supervise front-line personnel to maximise performance and achieve planned objectives and to ensure that service provision and quality is delivered to the required standards. You'll contribute as required to the business planning process.
