Are you looking for a new role? We have an exciting opportunity to join our fantastic Cleaning Team as Site Supervisor, based at Laurus Didsbury High School. We're looking for someone with a 'can do, will do' attitude to come and join us - no experience necessary who will deliver high standards and be an ambassador for the TLC family in our community. A Disclosure and Barring Check will be required for the position.
What you will be doing in this role:
- You'll use equipment, machinery and cleaning materials effectively, efficiently and in accordance with safe working practices to carry out your duties.
- You'll check and report any faults with equipment, machinery or the building itself, to the on site supervisor or Area Manager describing fully the nature of the faults.
- You'll maintain good working relationships with clients and deal with any minor queries or complaints, and to relay any significant customer issues to the Area Manager for further action.
- You'll participate in staff training programmes and carry out all duties in a responsible manner with due regard to the Authority's Health and Safety Policy.
- You'll perform any additional duties related to the work of the section appropriate to the post, as and when required.
- You will be focused on driving improvements in operational performance and productivity with a definite focus on customers in and around Stockport.
- You will report directly to your Line Manager.
- You will bring a fresh approach to effect real change, especially delivering a commercial business acumen right for our future.
