Job Description
As Market Performance Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping marketplace performance across our UK business. Working at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Commercial and Pricing, you'll use data-driven insights to improve customer outcomes, strengthen retention and drive sustainable growth. You'll have the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, lead commercially impactful initiatives and directly contribute to market performance.
What you'll do
- Marketplace Performance: Monitor, analyse and communicate marketplace health and performance across key commercial, candidate and product KPIs.
- Drive Insight-Led Decisions: Identify growth opportunities, performance risks and optimisation potential through data analysis and market intelligence.
- Influence Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Pricing and Commercial stakeholders to improve marketplace outcomes.
- Challenge & Improve Performance: Turn trends and insights into actionable recommendations that influence strategy, investment decisions and business priorities.
- Lead Executive Reporting: Present performance trends, business challenges and opportunities to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Deliver Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, market dynamics and customer behaviour to support growth and marketplace strategy.
Qualifications
- Must-have Relevant Industry Experience: Experience in Marketplace, Ecommerce, Digital Trading, Performance Marketing or Product Performance environments.
- Strong Analytical Capability: Ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends and uncover actionable business insights.
- Commercial Mindset: Proven experience translating data into recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Stakeholder Influence: Ability to build credibility and influence decisions across multiple teams and functions.
- Executive Communication Skills: Confidence presenting insights, recommendations and challenges to senior stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Approach: Structured, data-driven mindset with a track record of identifying and solving business challenges.
- Nice-to-have Marketplace & Growth Expertise: Experience in digital marketplaces, ecommerce, conversion optimisation, pricing or growth-focused business environments.
