At TOTALIS we are a Construction, Fit Out and Facilities Management provider with offices across the UK. We carry out a wide range of projects for a variety of private, public sector and retail clients. Due to exciting growth plans, new client wins and improvements to our internal systems we are looking for a Site Manager to join our team in our Belfast Office.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to handle multiple tasks at once. There will be excellent opportunity to progress within this role.
The Role:
- Experience in managing a mixture of Public and Design & Build projects
- Proactive development of positive working relationships with key players including existing clients, subcontractors and suppliers
- Ability to deliver projects on time and to specification
- Overseeing and organising relevant trades and subcontractors on site
- Ensuring site safety and liaising with relevant bodies as required
- Additional functions relative to ensuring the efficient delivery of projects from commencement through to completion
- Attend and co-ordinate site meetings
Essential criteria:
- Third level Construction degree or HNC qualification
- Gold / Platinum CSR or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 15 years experience in site management
- IT skills word/excel/good communicator etc
- Commercial knowledge of the building industry
- Good decision making and problem-solving skills
- Computer literate on office applications including Word and Excel
- Results focused with ability to work on own initiative
- Available to work flexible hours and to travel as necessary within the UK & Ireland
Desirable criteria:
- Preferably 5+ years experience in a Main Contracting environment
