We are recruiting in our Data Operations team for someone to join us on a 6 month contract to work on a project for Radio Teleswitch Service working in our Tadworth office. Data Operations provides operational support for TGP’s customer lifecycle journey which includes, but is not limited to management of market interaction to maintain metering and read data required to ensure the accuracy of billing and industry settlement in electricity and gas markets.
The core remit of the role will be providing process support, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve data exceptions and customer queries raised by internal teams. As the Data Operations Executive you will be required to be approachable, flexible, and adaptable.
Salary: £22,925 to 25,623pa
Bonus: Up to 10% at the end of the contract
Location: Kingswood KT20 6RP - Office-based during induction - agile working after 3 months
Working Pattern: Hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 at home
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract - 6 Month
About the Office:
Based at the Kingswood Field office KT20 6RP (Tadworth), a 28-acre office campus site set in the Surrey countryside with trail walks. You will enjoy a modern vibrant and friendly working environment. We have an onsite restaurant and café with a wide range of options available, and coffee shop. There is a state-of-the-art on-site gym run by Nuffield, with classes on set days in the mornings, at lunch and after work hours. We have a staff car park which includes electric charging points, an undercover and secure bike rack, or if you will use public transport we have a private shuttle bus service that regularly runs between train station and the office at peak times.
Activities:
- Support processes within Data Operations remit to defined industry timescales and internal SLAs, designed to deliver a great customer experience.
- Manage assigned queries including escalations and customer complaints in line with business rules.
- Maintain the integrity of read and meter asset data held in industry databases through use of dataflows.
- Support industry and internal data cleansing projects as required.
- Collaborative working with other business areas and provide technical support regarding industry processes when required.
- Maintain the relationships with external 3rd parties to drive high performance at all times.
- Manage and respond to emails in the relevant department mailboxes in line with department SLAs.
Qualifications / experience required:
- Energy and/or Customer Services industry experience would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word & Excel) to an intermediate level.
- Excellent Communication skills – written and verbal.
- Good numeracy and problem solving skills.
- Strong planning and organisation as well as negotiation and influencing skills.
