WASTE & RECYCLING PROCESSING SPECIALIST REQUIRED TO MANAGE A TEAM OF PRODUCTION STAFF AT A HIGH OUTPUT PLANT.
SALARY: Circa £55-65K DOE plus 25 days hol + B/H, health cash plan, 2 x death in service.
HOURS: Mon-Fri 40 hrs per week.
LOCATION: You will live in the South Lancashire, Manchester, North Cheshire or Merseyside area.
ROLE:
- You lead the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the plant, delivering daily production to required quality, volume and customer standards.
- You drive performance through KPIs and data, own quality control, and champion Health, Safety and Environmental excellence across all activities.
- You coordinate closely with contracts, logistics and customers to manage deliveries, resolve operational issues and maintain strong senior level relationships.
- You identify and manage operational and contractual risks, lead and develop the operations team, and plan maintenance to maximise plant availability.
- You control budgets, optimise resources and implement continuous improvement to reduce waste, enhance efficiency and support cost effective operations.
EXPERIENCE:
- You will have 2+ years’ experience managing waste, quarry or aggregates processing / production type operations (collections focussed backgrounds not considered).
- You will be a strong man manager.
- You will have a UK Driving Licence.
Ideal Qualifications:
- COTC / WAMITAB Level 4.
- NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
