EXPERIENCED TRANSPORT MANAGER WITH A BACKGROUND IN WASTE MANAGEMENT, RECYCLING OR MULTIDROP REQUIRED TO MANAGE A TEAM OF DRIVERS TITLE: Transport Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Depot Operations SALARY: £37-50K DOE CORE HOURS: 8am-5pm Mon to Fri LOCATION: Sheffield PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE COULD BE: Transport Manager, Depot Manager, Operations Manager, Transport Supervisor, Senior Transport Planner, Service Delivery Manager, Transport Operations Manager, Transport Team Leader, Multi-drop Logistics Manager ROLE: Transport Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Depot Operations You will manage commercial waste collections operations across the region You will manage, mentor and appraise a team of drivers and loaders You will ensure costs are kept to a minimum and look to deliver increased efficiency You will drive employee engagement EXPERIENCE: Transport Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Depot Operations You will have experience line managing drivers, ideally at management level. Ideally you will have had experience in the commercial waste management and recycling collections sector, outside of this a regional multidrop transport background would be next best. Long-haul A to B transport services would not be a suitable background Ideally you will have a managers CPC, other beneficial qualifications as IOSH, NEBOSH, COTC, WAMITAB, ADR or similar PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE COULD BE: Transport Manager, Depot Manager, Operations Manager, Transport Supervisor, Senior Transport Planner, Service Delivery Manager, Transport Operations Manager, Transport Team Leader, Multi-drop Logistics Manager
