EXPERIENCED HGV TECHNICIAN / LGV ENGINEER / HGV MECHANIC / TO UNDERTAKE REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE A RANGE OF HGV VEHICLES
SALARY: £DOE plus a range of benefits
LOCATION: Slough
HOURS: Shift pattern:
- Week 1: 06.30 to 14.30 (half hour unpaid lunch)
- Week 2: 14.00 to 22:00 (half hour unpaid lunch), plus alternate Saturday from 07.30 to 12.00
ROLE:
- Maintenance and repair of HGVs, trucks, trailers, plant, and vans
- Record-keeping & associated paperwork
- Collaboration on larger jobs
- Strict safety compliance working within company guidelines
EXPERIENCE:
- NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 or higher HGV Mechanics
- Minimum 2 years’ HGV Technician experience (post apprenticeship)
- Experience working on Hookloaders, Roro’s, RCV’s, Tippers, REL’s, FEL’s a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- HGV licence advantageous
