AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED, COMMERCIALLY FOCUSED HEAD OF HR / HR MANAGER TO LEAD THE PEOPLE FUNCTION FOR A GROWING, MULTI-SITE WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING BUSINESS.
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 plus car allowance, bonus and pension. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Location: Home based with travel to sites as required.
You will work closely with the senior leadership team and operational managers, providing both strategic and hands-on HR leadership across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Senior HR Advisor.
- Develop and deliver the HR and people strategy aligned to business growth.
- Advise senior leaders and managers on commercial HR matters.
- Lead HR policies, processes and employment-law compliance.
- Manage employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues.
- Lead recruitment, retention, succession planning and talent management.
- Coach and develop managers and leaders.
- Improve performance management, engagement, culture and wellbeing initiatives.
- Support organisational change, restructuring and business transformation.
