Metals Buyer / Trader with several years’ experience in the scrap metal recycling industry required to purchase ferrous and nonferrous material.
Location: Remote role, based somewhere across central England - Midlands / Anglia.
Package: £Neg depending on current salary and tonnages you are delivering.
You will have worked in metal recycling in one of these functions:
- Scrap Metal Commercial Manager
- Field Sales Executive
- Business Development Manager
- Non-Ferrous Metals Trader
- Sales Manager
- Ferrous Metals Buyer
Role: You will purchase tonnage of nonferrous and ferrous metals from industry, manufacturing, general waste companies and other producers of scrap. You will self-generate leads, build potential client lists, sit appointments, account manage.
Experience: To be considered, you MUST have several years’ experience working in the Scrap Metal Recycling Sector in a commercial buying / business development role. You will demonstrate drive and self-sufficiency. You will have a full UK Driving Licence.
