EXPERIENCED HAZARDOUS WASTE TECHNICAL ASSESSOR REQUIRED TO UNDERTAKE PRE-ACCEPTANCE, WM3 CLASSIFICATION AND OTHER DUTIES.
SALARY: £30-35K DOE, plus benefits and additional development / training.
LOCATION: North Birmingham.
ROLE:
- Classify waste streams accurately using WM3.
- Data management & report writing.
- Determine most efficient and cost-effective treatment or disposal routes.
- Pricing and quoting.
- Travel to clients' sites may be required on occasion.
EXPERIENCE:
- You will have 12+ months experience in a Hazardous Waste Technical Assessor role for a Hazardous Waste Management company.
- You will have a degree in Chemistry or a Science degree with modules that demonstrate you are a competent chemist (4 modules with Chemistry directly in the title e.g. organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry).
- You will have a UK Driving Licence.
- You will have experience of classifying waste by WM3.
- Useful non-essential qualifications: COTC / WAMITAB.
