EXPERIENCED HEALTH & SAFETY ADVISOR, WITH STRONG HEALTH AND SAFETY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR MULTISITE OPERATION IN THE WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING SECTOR TITLE: Health Safety & Environmental Advisor SALARY: £42,500 plus pension LOCATION: North West you may be located in Chester, Wrexham, Mold, Ruthin and surrounding areas YOU WILL HAVE BEEN AN: HSEQ Advisor, SHEQ Advisor, HSE Advisor, Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor, Compliance & HSEQ Advisor, EHSQ Advisor (Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality), Operations Manager, HSEQ Operations Manager, SHEQ Operations Manager, Health & Safety Operations Manager, Environmental Compliance Operations Manager, Operations & Compliance Manager, Operations & HSEQ Manager, Site Operations Manager, Recycling Operations Manager, YOU MAY HAVE WORKED IN : Heavy Industry, Manufacturing, Engineering or other industrial environments.

ROLE: Health Safety & Environmental Advisor Previous experience in an HSEQ, HSE, SHEQ, or similar compliance-focused role.

Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality legislation.

Experience conducting internal audits and supporting external audits.

Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels of the organisation.

Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites EXPERIENCE: Health Safety & Environmental Advisor Experience working within heavy industry, manufacturing, or other industrial environments.

Previous experience working with or alongside EA or Natural Resources Wales.

Knowledge of environmental permitting regulations.

IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.

WAMITAB qualification or willingness to obtain one.

Experience maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
