EXPERIENCED HAZARDOUS WASTE TECHNICAL ASSESSOR REQUIRED TO UNDERTAKE PRE-ACCEPTANCE, WM3 CLASSIFICATION AND OTHER DUTIES.

SALARY: £30-35K DOE, plus benefits and additional development / training.

LOCATION: North Birmingham.

ROLE:

  • Classify waste streams accurately using WM3.
  • Data management & report writing.
  • Determine most efficient and cost-effective treatment or disposal routes.
  • Pricing and quoting.
  • Travel to clients' sites may be required on occasion.

EXPERIENCE:

  • You will have 12 months experience in a Hazardous Waste Technical Assessor role for a Hazardous Waste Management company.
  • You will have a degree in Chemistry or a Science degree with modules that demonstrate you are a competent chemist (4 modules with Chemistry directly in the title e.g. organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry).
  • You will have a UK Driving Licence.
  • You will have experience of classifying waste by WM3.
  • Useful non-essential qualifications: COTC / WAMITAB.
