EXPERIENCED MECHANICAL ENGINEER WITH BASIC ELECTRICAL SKILLS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN HEAVY MOBILE AND STATIC PLANT EQUIPMENT.

HOURS: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri plus overtime if required.

SALARY: £45-52K DOE plus O/T & Pension.

LOCATION: March.

YOU MAY HAVE WORKED ON LARGE PLANT EQUIPMENT IN:

  • Heavy Industry
  • Plant Hire
  • Waste Management
  • Quarrying
  • Mining
  • Metal Recycling
  • Skip Hire

ROLE: You will undertake reactive and preventative maintenance. You will fault find and undertake mechanical repairs to recycling equipment and mobile plant equipment. You will look to improve plant availability. You will work within company safety policy.

EXPERIENCE: You will ideally be time served, and have NVQ2 or higher in a mechanical discipline. Any welding or electrical skills would be an advantage. You will have worked on large production equipment or capital plant equipment such as Balers, Compactors, Shredders, Crushers, Trommels, Screeners, Shears, 360 excavators, loading shovels.
