We are looking for a Yard Operative with experience operating mobile plant equipment (FLT or bigger) to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced role.

Salary: £28,500 + £3,000 Bonus

Location: Atherton

Hours: 7.30am-5pm Mon to Fri, 30 mins lunch and 2 x 15 mins breaks

Role: You will operate mobile plant equipment such as FLT, bobcat, waste handler (any required training given, provided you have experience operating some mobile plant). You will process bulk waste material and work within site safety policy.

Experience: You must have 1 year’s experience in an outdoors dirty type of environment similar to Skip Hire, Landfill, Waste, Recycling, Aggregates, Quarry, Farm, Construction, Demolition. You will have experience operating at least one of the following (licenced or in-house training acceptable): FLT, Telehandler, Skidsteer, Loading Shovel, Digger, Tractor with Bucket, JCB, 360 excavator, Waste Handler. You will be provided training on any plant equipment you are required to operate. Any safety training also welcome.
