We are seeking an Auto Electrician responsible for working on a variety of commercial vehicle body builds who will carry out the installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of electrical systems on a wide range of commercial vehicles and specialist body builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain electrical systems on commercial vehicles
- Wire and connect lighting, control panels, sensors, and specialist equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently
- Work from wiring diagrams and technical specifications
- Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in a timely manner
- Support workshop operations and collaborate with other departments
- Assist in vehicle modifications and body fitting where required
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as an Auto Electrician in commercial vehicles preferred (for skilled role)
- Strong understanding of 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work both independently and in a team
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
