Duties:
- Support daily care including feeding, dressing/undressing, hygiene.
- Assist with planning and running age-appropriate indoor/outdoor activities.
- Follow safeguarding and ensure children’s wellbeing.
- Maintain clean, safe rooms; prep areas for the next day.
- Communicate positively with parents and carers.
- Work effectively with the nursery team.
- Listen well, communicate clearly, and engage warmly with children.
- Take part in outdoor activities in all weather conditions.
Training:
Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship with Total Training Provision. Learn childcare practice, child development, safeguarding, health & safety, activity planning, and complete assignments with tutor support. 20% of hours spent training.
Requirements:
- GCSE Maths (Grade 4+) desirable.
- DBS check required.
- Skills in teamwork, creativity, patience, problem-solving, initiative, customer care, number skills, and a passion for outdoor learning.
