Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively learn and understand In-tend\’s range of goods and services and participate in continual training
  • Contact In-tend\’s customers and prospective customers for account management and sales purposes; include calls to current and potential customers, follow‑up on advertising enquiries, follow‑up seminars and delegates offering additional products or services, and follow‑up on event enquiries to aid revenue generation for the relevant department/company
  • Identify enquiries that may lead to further training, product or service sales, and pass to the relevant department for follow‑up to ticket resolution
  • Provide appropriate and timely telephone and/or e‑mail assistance/responses to inbound correspondence, including internal and external customers, clients and suppliers
  • Maintain In-tend\’s CRM database, keep it up‑to‑date electronically, and comply with GDPR legislation regarding data
  • Liaise with other departments for optimal resolution of customer queries
  • Manage customer expectations and provide difficult messages when required
  • Share knowledge and work as part of a team to achieve monthly performance indicators and sales targets as advised
  • Ensure all customer communications are carried out in line with the company\’s written standards and procedures and in a professional business manner
  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as required by the Senior Management Team as the role develops or is requested

Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals who are keen to develop in a professional role. The right candidate must not only be able to look professional but also act that way in an open‑plan office‑based environment. They must be able to work in a quiet professional environment.

The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, enthusiastic, with good customer care focus and a strong desire to learn about all of our products and services to become a well‑rounded asset to the company. Preferable have some customer services experience. Essential to be organised, confident and focused.

Level 3 Customer Service apprenticeships will be considered for anyone with Level 2 already, and there is the opportunity over time to move to other business departments within the company.
