Overview

Business Admin Assistant / Lean Management Bootcamp role at Total Training Provision. The position is connected to employability Bootcamps and is based in the Rotherham region in partnership with clients seeking Business Admin Staff.

As part of the Bootcamp, the programme will help upskill your CV to showcase transferable skills and prepare you for job opportunities.

Position Details

  • This role is attached to one of our employability Bootcamps for the Rotherham region.
  • Location: Rotherham (South Yorkshire region).
  • Hours: 08:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Dates

You need to attend the Lean Management Bootcamp course between 27 October and 24 November (Weekdays only) in Rotherham. You are required to attend 2.5 days per week from 27 October until the end of the course.

Eligibility

  • Unemployed.
  • Must be available to undertake the training between 27 October – 24 November (Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 4:30pm).
  • Must live within the South Yorkshire region.
  • Must have lived in the UK/EU for the last 3 years.
  • Must NOT be on any other funded program.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.

Job Role and Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively learn and understand In-tends range of goods and services and participate in continual training.
  • Contact customers and prospective customers for account management and sales purposes; including calls to current and potential customers; following up on advertising enquiries; following up seminar delegates offering additional products or services, and following up on event enquiries to aid revenue generation for the relevant department/company.
  • Identify enquiries which may lead to further training or product or services sales, and pass to the relevant department for follow up to ticket resolution.
  • Provide appropriate and timely telephone and/or email assistance/responses to inbound correspondence for internal and external customers/clients.
  • Use the CRM database (In-manage) and maintain up-to-date records in line with GDPR.
  • Liaise with other departments for optimal resolution of customer queries.
  • Manage expectations of customers and/or provide difficult messages.
  • Share knowledge and work as part of a team to achieve monthly performance indicators and sales targets as advised.
  • Ensure all communications with customers are professional and in line with company standards and procedures.
  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as required by the Senior Management Team as the role develops.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Customer service experience.
  • Project management skills.
  • Confidence to speak with customers over the telephone in a professional manner.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to draft and prepare written responses to customer queries.
  • Ability to update and maintain records electronically.
  • Customer-focused and able to work under pressure, re-prioritising as required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
