Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping transport operations running smoothly? We are recruiting an additional HGV Class C Day Drivers to work Monday to Friday.
Igloo Thermo Logistics is a national temperature-controlled distribution company operating across three depots in the UK. We have depots in Leeds, Luton and Taunton.
What you will be doing
- Safely operate the delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
- Average Drops between 5-10 drops per day.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Loading and unloading items.
- Maintain communication with Transport staff and customers regarding delivery status.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and maintain a clean driving log.
What we are looking for/Essential for the role
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV license.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and valid digital tachograph card.
- Strong knowledge of UK road networks and road safety laws.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Minimum of 2 years held on a driving license. We will accept up to 6 points on your license, but no DD, DG, TT, DR, CD, IN, CU endorsements.
Working Monday to Friday. Start times between 0500-0700. Finish times may vary.
