Reporting to the Plant Manager you will be responsiblefor the safe, efficient operation and monitoring of the companys planton a 24-hour basis. Responsible for investigating in this role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient operation and monitoring of the planton a 24-hour basisplant issues, managing plant disturbances, reporting plant performance issues, KPI monitoring and alarm managementIn addition, you will be responsible for plant start-up situations to ensure customer demandis managed appropriately to minimise cost to the businessCarry out plant efficiency evaluations to identify plantperformance issues and make appropriate recommendations for improvementsFurthermore, you will be responsible for the operation of our plant tominimise process safety implications and ensure KPIs are upheldMaintaining high standards of housekeeping whilst contributing to the site safety management systemEnsure all site operations are carried out safely, and in accordance with the company and statutory operating and safety standardsContribute fully to all site and business quality, safety and environmental initiativesRequirements: Suitable candidates ideally will be educated to HNCin an electrical, instrumentation,chemical engineering or chemical process subjectTime served experience of operating in an Oil, Gases,Petro-chemical or pharmaceutical/chemical process environment preferably,which involves fractional distillation and high pressure transfer schemesand pipelinesYou ideally will have previous experience in control room operation and using process interfacessuch as HMI software/SCADA/ PCS7 SiemensIn addition, you have experience of working with piping and instrumentation Diagrams(P&ID), plant schematics and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)Ability to troubleshoot, fault find and investigate process issuesusing data trending applicationsFurthermore, plant commissioning experience is an advantageYou also have strong relationship management and team working abilities within acontrol room environmentKnowledge of Permit to Work procedures and relevant emergency plansYou must have a high level of personal IntegrityNot sure if you fulfil the full criteria for this role?
