REPORTS TO: Night Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee completion of allocated tasks, ensuring they meet TSS and Wimbledon’s high standards.
- Confidently delegate and allocate tasks, follow up on progress, and ensure updates are provided to the Night Manager.
- Monitor team behaviour, performance, and welfare, providing praise where appropriate and escalating concerns or recognition opportunities to the Night Manager.
- Lead by example in behaviour, presentation, and professionalism.
- Ensure all team members wear full uniform, identification badge, and PPE correctly, and always present a professional image.
- Ensure correct cleaning materials, equipment, and methods are used; keep equipment clean and tidy, reporting any faults to the Night Manager.
- Ensure all operatives complete daily attendance sheets accurately.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure materials and equipment are stored safely in line with risk assessments.
- Respond to cleaning issues raised throughout the day.
- Report all accidents, incidents, or near misses promptly to the Night Manager and TSS Management Team.
- Remain vigilant and escalate any safety or security concerns to the Night Manager or AELTC Security Team.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with current Health and Safety legislation.
- Attend training as required by the TSS Training & Recruitment Department.
- Comply with TSS Policies and Procedures.
- Assist the management team with induction of new operatives.
- Answer and respond to radio calls as required.
- Ensure TSS devices (phones and radios) are well maintained and signed in/out correctly at the end of each shift.

- Competent in spoken English, able to communicate clearly and understand verbal instructions, with reasonable written communication skills.
- Open, friendly, and approachable towards colleagues, other teams, and visitors.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Able to motivate and support others to achieve high standards.
- Courteous, professional, and well-presented in full uniform (provided by TSS), including plain, comfortable black shoes with no visible logos.
- Attend Orientation Evening and apply training as required.
