Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job.
- Undertaking all duties in a professional manner, deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal.
- Using in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed.
- Completing relevant paperwork in real time.
- Carrying out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
- Maintaining excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users.
Working Hours: 7am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points).
- Driver CPC.
- Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Willingness to undertake tasks.
- Clean drivers licence desirable for all staff.
