Job Description

Total Spectrum are recruiting on behalf of our Engineering client, who are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their team

This will be a straight permanent role, for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC turning machines
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ensure components meet quality and tolerance requirements
  • Carry out routine machine maintenance
  • Apprentice trained
  • The successful candidate would be running a Hurco TM8i, training would be given if required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner is essential
  • Must be able to program both at the machine and offline using fusion
  • Ability to program and adjust offsets
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Knowledge of ISO/Fanuc/Hurco controls (preferred)

Hours, Benefit & Salary:

  • Hours are 07:15-16:00 Monday to Thursday/ 07:15-12:30 Friday.
