Total Spectrum are recruiting on behalf of our Engineering client, who are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their team. This will be a straight permanent role, for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Setting, operating, and programming CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components.
- Setting up and operating CNC turning machines.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Ensuring components meet quality and tolerance requirements.
- Carrying out routine machine maintenance.
Requirements:
- Apprentice trained.
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner is essential.
- Must be able to program both at the machine and offline using Fusion.
- Ability to program and adjust offsets.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Knowledge of ISO/Fanuc/Hurco controls (preferred).
Hours, Benefits & Salary:
- Hours are 07:15-16:00 Monday to Thursday / 07:15-12:30 Friday.
