We're Hiring: Commercial Account Handler – Birmingham ?? Location: Birmingham | ?? Full-Time | ?? Department: Commercial
Are you a confident communicator with a solid background in commercial insurance? Do you enjoy building client relationships and delivering exceptional service, while keeping things sharp and compliant? If that sounds like your vibe – let’s talk.
What you’ll be doing:You’ll be supporting our Commercial team, handling everything from new business to renewals, midterm adjustments, and client queries. You’ll liaise with insurers and brokers, provide sound risk management advice, and help our clients get the right cover, at the right time, for the right price.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing client renewals, MTAs, and quotes with accuracy and efficiency
- Identifying cross-sell opportunities and supporting the growth of client portfolios
- Maintaining clear, compliant records using our internal systems
- Liaising with insurers and our internal Claims Team to resolve policy and claims queries
- Promoting the Adler Fairways brand and building relationships across the industry
What we’re looking for:? 3+ years’ experience in general insurance? A strong communicator who’s confident over the phone and in person? Highly organised, target-driven, and solutions-focused? Ideally Cert CII qualified or working towards it? Solid working knowledge of commercial insurance and broking systems – Acturis experience a big plus
