Job Summary

Total Social are working with Devon County Council who are looking for an experienced locum Children\’s Social Worker for their Children Looked After, Corporate Parenting Team based in Tiverton.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking Experienced Social Workers for our North & Mid teams, supporting children and young people in our care. Focussing on family-led outcomes you will build and maintain positive relationships with children and young people, and their families to achieve safety and stability. You will model high standards of professional social work practice and will be used to working at pace, within a high pressurised environment

Benefits

An accommodation/commuter allowance of £150 per week is offered for candidates who fall within the agreed eligibility guidelines

Qualifications

Qualifying candidates require at least three years’ post-qualifying experience in direct / permanent employment of an English local authority in children’s services.
