Currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to undertake the delivery of engineering design packages to the required time, cost and quality and personally undertake some of the more complex design tasks as required. To provide specialist process engineering advice.
Responsibilities:
- Production of design deliverables (e.g. drawings, reports or calculations) to agreed standards of safety, cost, quality and time.
- Where appropriate, may be required to train and develop others.
- Involvement in improvement initiatives and projects.
- Comply with all legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and processes applicable to the role.
Qualifications:
- BEng (Hons) or MEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience as a Process Engineer on a Nuclear site or a highly regulated site.
- Associate member of the IChemE or working towards.
- Ability to confidently liaise with external stakeholders and team members, both oral and written.
- Ability to independently seek out or develop one’s own answer to challenging technical questions.
- Analyse situations and challenge the conditions, activities or solutions to support continuous improvement and develop areas of best practice.
- Organise one’s own time and the time of others to ensure internal/external deadlines are achieved and Client expectations are exceeded.
- Ability to take responsibility for one’s own actions and foster an inclusive working environment where all members of the team are respected and given equal opportunity to participate.
